BEST Restaurant in NJ!! Everything on their menu is to die for, especially their special’s! I’ve been eating here once a week for the last 18 months and never once had anything short of spectacular, from salad special’s, seafood special’s, to pastas dishes and prime steak dinners, Cafe Luna is second to none!! And don’t leave this place without ordering their homemade desserts! Chocolate bag special, lava cake, and Their banana bread are the best!
Great restaurant. Both the food and service were excellent. Dinner for two in a nice and cozy setting, perfect for a date night.
Anthony was our server and was very attentive the entire time. Food came out hot, quick and very delicious. We ordered the specials for a Tuesday and all three were on point. Starting off with the shrimp special, bangin’ to say the least. Think of the Bonefish Bang Bang Shrimp, but a lot better. Onto dinner, we then ordered the Spinach Ravioli and the Chicken with a Red Pepper/Tomato Puree. Both extremely tasty and cooked perfectly. To end the night off, dessert was great as well.
During the meal, I believe either the manager or owner came to check up on us; I thought that was a nice touch. It shows they really care about their patrons. In addition to our great meal, we were also given complementary drinks on the house. I would definitely return to Cafe Luna and recommend it to anyone in the area. Looking forward to the next time I visit.
“I can’t say enough good about this restaurant! From the second you walk through the door, you feel extremely welcomed. You can’t beat their happy hour menu, the food and drinks on their are fabulous. Adel is one of the greatest waiters there. Both himself, and Sammy, the manager, always go above and beyond to make sure each and every guest are completely satisfied. I’ve never had a bad experience or a bad meal here. We come here once during the week and once on the weekends for dinner. The restaurant and bar area are beautifully decorated. If you haven’t been here you must go!!!! They go above and beyond, and everything is always perfect.”
It’s in a strip center, but don’t let that fool. When you enter you will feel you are in an upscale restaurant. Staff was friendly but the manager seemed friendlier and more attentive to the regulars.
The Scarole and fagiola soup was very hearty and a big serving. Baked clams were six little necks and very tasty. Linguini Nera was black fresh pasta with small shrimp pieces in a light red sauce. Real good but a tad overcooked. The whole wheat pasta with artichokes, mushrooms and tomatoes was a nice portion and equally light.
There were plenty of specials that were recited to us. I wish restaurants would not burden us with trying to remember five appetizers and five mains. Maybe if they printed out a special sheet they would then have to disclose the prices.
